Dear Professor Atkinson

Having seen some of your work on poverty in Europe, I would like to ask whether
you would be kind enough to direct me towards any economic theorist who could
answer the two questions I pose at the end of this short document.     My own
training is in Classics and subsequently in experimental psychology;   I am now
writing on a range of unexplored assumptions in economics.    

The questions concern the relationships between demographic change and economic
statistics.
