Mr. SHERVANI ( India) agreed with the Secretary-General that, over the last 15 years, the United Nations major conferences had resulted in the emergence of a shared vision of development.  He welcomed the recognition in the report of the Economic and Social Council’s critical role in fostering a comprehensive development agenda at the United Nations."
